We are looking for a seasoned VP of R&D to join our dynamic team and drive the development of our next-generation cybersecurity solutions.

As the VP of R&D, you will lead and oversee the development initiatives. You will work closely with the executive team to shape the company's technical vision and drive the innovation agenda. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in the cybersecurity industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership:

 - Develop and implement the R&D strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.

 - Identify emerging trends, technologies, and industry developments to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

 - Collaborate with the executive team to define product roadmaps and prioritize R&D initiatives.

Team Management:

 - Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

 - Recruit, retain, and develop top talent.

 - Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the R&D team, ensuring accountability and high performance.

Collaboration & Communication

 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs into the product lifecycle.

 - represent the R&D function to internal and external stakeholders.

Budget & Resource Management:

 - Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support strategic priorities.

 - Identify and secure funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, to support R&D initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience, with a significant portion in the cybersecurity industry.

- Proven track record of leading successful R&D projects and delivering innovative cybersecurity solutions.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and scaling high-performing R&D teams.

- Deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.

- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

- Experience with budget management and securing research funding is a plus.
