Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Researcher at Daika Wood. The Senior Researcher will be responsible for conducting and leading research and development activities related to our innovative wood material. Day-to-day tasks may include material and process development, testing, analysis, and optimization, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements. The Senior Researcher will also be involved in product development and contributing to the company's overall innovation strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong background in materials science, chemistry, or chemical engineering
• Experience in conducting independent research and development activities
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and material characterization techniques
• Knnowledge in related research fields sch as thermoplastic polymer, clay, rubber are a plus
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly materials is a plus
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in materials science, chemistry, or a related field
