Backend Infrastructure Team Leader

As a team leader, you will manage the building, enhancing, and maintaining of the general infrastructure of the product on the application level and cloud infrastructure level. This role is ideal for an experienced team leader in the infrastructure space, who is passionate about people, technology, and reliable infrastructure, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What you’ll do:

• Leading the team in their day-to-day work, guiding the team's work to success
• Guide and mentor team members to enhance their skills and support their personal and professional growth
• Continuously work to improve the working processes and agility of the team
• Oversee and manage the implementation and delivery of new platform features and enhancements according to the product team’s requirements
• Oversee and manage the continuous improvement and evolution of the product’s infrastructure
• Participate in high-level design discussions

You’ll do it using:

• 3+ years of proven experience leading a team of developers and being able to motivate and guide them towards achieving project goals.
• Experience managing infrastructure teams is a strong advantage
• Proven experience as a software engineer working on complex applications.
• Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
• Experience with both monolithic and micro-service-based systems - an advantage
• Relational DB experience - an advantage
• Java familiarity - strong advantage
• Experience with authentication and authorization - advantage
