As an HR Associate you will be focused on providing HR operational excellence support, lead recruitment initiates to attract top talents for the Israel affiliate and be the primary point of contact for most HR enquiries from employees, supervisors, and HR counterparts across a wide variety of HR processes and transactions.
This position will answer the needs of our customers by delivering high quality and timely HR services while balancing the needs of the employee, supervisor, and company to improve business performance. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, this position will serve as a subject matter expert on recruiting, HR processes and projects, reporting to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for all HR matters from employees, supervisors, HR colleagues and candidates across a wide variety of HR processes and transactions.
- Support the execution of the Israeli HR Strategic plan based on evolving business needs.
Key Objectives/Deliverables
Employees Relations/business partnership
- Business Partnership with internal functions and supporting to resolve employee and external needs. Where applicable referring issues to appropriate stakeholders within a timely manner.
- Explaining and applying HR processes and procedures to advise managers, employees, and HR through their query to drive organizational excellence.
- Be the subject matter expert for first line supervisors in areas such as:
- HR local organizational issues.
- Fair and consistent treatment and application of Lilly policies & procedures.
- Internal staffing and other HR processes and systems.
Recruitment
- Lead recruitment activities for the affiliate end to end, including understanding the business needs, preparation & update of JDs, posting positions, screening candidates, handling logistics of interviews and feedback in WD and to candidates, preparation of offer, collection of supporting documents and onboarding.
- Attracting and sourcing top talents through multiple channels.
- Partnering with business functions for preparation and review of job descriptions to meet business needs.
- Looking for opportunities to streamline recruitment processes, sharing key learnings with team, partnering with cross-functional teams/hiring managers, leading assessment centers, panel interviews and guiding individuals on workday process related to recruitment/hiring.
- Participate and organize recruitment activities, career days with top universities in Israel.
- Build strong partnership with top universities to attract top talents and increase employer branding and career opportunities for students.
- Partnering with sourcing companies and external talent agencies as needed for talent attraction.
- Ensure line supervisors are supported in the process and are well trained and equipped to select the best talent.
- Track HR HC according to affiliate and Hub/Regional Business plan targets.
- Provide support with facilitating, scheduling, and booking candidates for interviews.
Onboarding/Exit
- Preparation of on-boarding plan for new employees and for employees transitioning to new roles, in collaboration with line supervisors and in accordance with compliance and position requirements.
- Ensuring every employee is equipped with the adequate training to carry out their role successfully.
- Ensuring proper support to new and exiting employees in terms of securing proper documentation, equipment, technical support (IT, systems), databases update, fulfilling legal and workday system requirements.
- Conduct self-audits according to the procedure to assess quality of off-boarding and identify gaps and actions to close gaps in the process.
- Follow-up with employees to complete onboarding plans and with supervisors to ensure timely submission of clearance documents and ensure all new supervisors are onboarded and trained on clearance.
HR communications and announcement preparation and update Lilly-Now as needed.
Learning & Development
- Support learning plan design and Success factors system needs.
- Track EYC status and communicate/train as needed.
- Overall responsibility for updating & maintaining an accurate training plan for all employees. Serve as the main focal point for various L&D inquiries & business functions’ needs, to ensure a quality design, and timely completion of training.
Monitor trainings monthly to ensure completion by due dates.
Ensure performance management communications are sent in line with company process.

Project management
Implement projects and tasks in accordance with local and regional HR roadmap.
Lead and support HR projects as per business needs, this will include project planning, maintaining project documentation, and execution on all logistics and communication plans.
Managing and governing budget.
HR Systems Administration
Workday & Beeline – Serve as main point of contact, updating the systems and providing guidance to users.
Ensuring Org charts and reporting lines are accurately updated.
Be responsible to maintain email groups which are owned by the HR function.
Maintain HR collaboration sites/team share-points and HR policies.
Reviewing, updating, and applying HR processes and procedures to drive organizational excellence.
Files and Archive Management
Ensure electronic and hard copy personnel files of all employees are complete and up to date.
Be accountable to collect, maintain and update the emergency info for employees and other key data to ensure compliance to Lilly privacy rules, audit requirements. Ensure HR data retention is line with record retention policy.
Ensure HR data base files (hard/soft) are kept in order to allow easy access to retrieve data.
HR Vendor Management
PO creation and procurement activities for HR.
Ensure all HR related activities, are in line with company polices (FRAP and procurement)
Responsible to lead and maintain contract renewals for HR vendors.
Continually improve team processes and practices to minimize bureaucracy and improve efficiency for HR, employees, and key business partners.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree.
MBA is an advantage.
3 years’ work experience in the HR area.
Experience with sourcing and talent acquisition.
Ability to work effectively and deliver results.
Experience and knowledge of working in the medical/healthcare environment and advantage.
