Server Team Lead

Responsibilities

Team Management

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to your team, promoting a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Support the professional development of team members, identify skill gaps, and provide coaching and training opportunities as needed.

Planning and Strategy

• Collaborate with stakeholders to set strategic goals and roadmap for the team.
• Develop and implement plans to achieve these objectives, aligning with organizational goals and market needs.

Technical Guidance

• Utilize your expertise to provide technical guidance and direction to the team.
• Assist in resolving complex technical challenges and promote the adoption of best practices.
• Encourage strong collaboration and communication within the team and with other departments.
• Work closely with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and maximize synergies.
• Monitor team performance and progress towards goals.
• Implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

5+ years experience as a backend engineer, with participation in large-scale projects

Experienced with Python

with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

At least 2 years of experience in building and managing development teams.

Team player and like to collaborate and ideate

Experience with distributed architecture

Experience with Kubernetes - advantage

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including setup and configuration - an advantage

Experience in the financial services space - a great advantage
