Firmware Student

NVIDIA is looking for an excellent and passionate Firmware Design student to take part in developing the next generation powerful Switch products in the FW ethernet core group. What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement various Firmware features in the Ethernet switch.
• Debug and bring solutions to complex problems, while working closely with SW and verification teams.
• Collaborating frequently with Firmware and Hardware Architecture teams as part of the day to day work, and impact the next ASIC generations silicon.
• Working on various development environments, involving both pre-silicon work on emulations, and post silicon work on real platforms.
  
  

What We Need To See

• Student of Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / SW Engineering
• Programming knowledge in C, Assembly
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms fundamentals.
• Good system view
• Knowledge of networking
• Independent and self-learner
• Remaining studies of at least two full semesters
• An official and updated grade sheet (in Word or PDF format, includes the GPA)
  
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Hands-on related experience from university/private project
• Motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
• Knowledge of real-time SW, RTOSs, Object Oriented
• Scripting abilities (Python, Bash)
• Knowledge in logic design and silicon production processes
