Backend & DevOps Engineer - Experience team (Node.js, TypeScript)

Our Opportunity

We're seeking several intelligent, proactive, and compassionate software engineers to join our team and help enterprise customers understand and enhance their security posture.

As a part of the AppSecEx Division, you'll collaborate to build a scalable, adaptable product used by both our Snyk product offerings and Enterprise customers to address complex challenges.

In this role, you'll use your development skills, passion, and problem-solving abilities to create software that ensures the security of other software products.

You’ll Spend Your Time

• Developing and maintaining features using modern programming techniques
• Collaborating on architectural decisions for maintainable solutions
• Promoting code quality through paired programming, reviews and best practices
• Resolving issues to ensure product stability and reliability
• Mentoring junior engineers and support their growth
• Proposing solutions that deliver both short-term benefits and also serve as strategic long-term technical investments.
• Staying current with engineering trends
  
  

• 3+ years’ experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Experience running and operating software on Kubernetes
• Experience with workflow systems, event driven architecture and state of the art CI/CD knowledge and best practices
• Proactive attitude and accountability
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to change
  
  

• Have helped scale a rapidly growing SaaS application
• Have been a part of a globally distributed team
• Have worked on large-scale distributed systems
• Have knowledge or experience with large scale database in production environment
• Are familiar with Argo Workflow
