Exaware is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux systems (REHL/CentOS/Ubuntu), along with extensive experience in managing and maintaining enterprise environments 

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do: 

• Manage and maintain Linux servers in an enterprise environment, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. 
• Handle various components such as user management, network configuration, storage management, memory backup, and security protocols. 
• Utilize your detailed understanding of TCP/IP to ensure network reliability and performance. 
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating system tasks and improving efficiency. 
• Administer and manage virtualized environments, with a preference for VMware ESXI. 
• Perform day-to-day system operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. 
• Work with server services like Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP as needed. 
• Install, configure, and manage network switches. 
• Investigate and troubleshoot system issues with a positive, analytical approach. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux system administration. 
• Hands-on experience with system operations, Linux, and VMware. 
• Advanced understanding of Linux system components and TCP/IP. 
• Proficiency in scripting for system automation (e.g., Bash, Python). 
• Experience with virtualization technologies, especially VMware ESXI. 
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong customer service skills. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Experience with server services like Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP– an advantage.
