AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of CI - test automation frameworks and tools building - Jenkins/gitlab preferred
• very good knowledge with version control tools (Git, Gerrit, gitlab other)
• 5+ years of experience in programming (python, bash, Tcl preferred)
• 4+ years of experience with automation frameworks. (Ansible, terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge and technical experience in public AWS infrastructure required
• Experience in software engineering concepts: OOP, OOD, data structures and algorithms
• Experience with developing for Linux OS environment.
• Experience with Linux OS - Services, Infrastructure, storage and development environments in general.
• Experience with containers. (docker, Kubernetes, EKS..)
• ability to diagnose and solve challenging problems.
• Self-management skills, good sense of prioritization while handling multiple tasks under pressure
• Team player, highly motivated, willing to work in dynamic and demanding environment and Fast learner
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux OS - deep dive knowledge
• Experience working on public clouds - AWS preferred.
• Experience with Git, compilers, make files….
• Experience with CI tools: Dockers, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with IT infrastructure - Networking, storage, directory services
