The INVU by Nuvo™ platform is an FDA-cleared medical-grade remote monitoring solution that combines wearable technology with dynamic cloud-based data capture and visualization to provide pregnancy monitoring that is accurate and reliable.
We are in our first year of commercialization, poised for growth and transitioning from a start-up to a publicly traded company. Headquartered in Israel, our operations span globally with a primary commercialization focus on the US market. As we expand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Controller in Israel to join our global finance team. The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing local accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the company's strategic objectives. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization during an exciting phase of expansion and transition.
Main Responsibilities include:
1.Accounting Operations
-Participate in and oversee timely monthly accounting and accounting close activities, including global consolidation
-Define, document and implement accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance, including in preparation for SOX Compliance.
-Optimize NetSuite configuration and remaining implementation to support automated accounting & reporting and global operations including Israel localization functionality.
-Support complex technical accounting entries for financial instruments requiring valuations and for revenue recognition. Coordinate with local valuation provider for required valuations.
2.Monthly Reporting:
-Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial reports for the management team, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with the Director – FP&A to support the preparation of annual budget and forecasts and to analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Analyze, identify, interpret and evaluate financial, accounting, cost and trend reports.
3.Compliance and Reporting to Local Authorities:
-Manage reporting obligations to local authorities, including the Israel Tax Authority, Social Security, VAT, IIA and other reporting and payment obligations.
-Manage relationship with local bank partner, payments and cash flow.
4.External Audit Management:
-Coordinate with external auditors for required audits and act as main liaison and Nuvo operational leader during the audit process; provide necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth audit cycle.
5.Bookkeeping/AP and Payroll Management:
-Manage local bookkeeper, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards.
-Oversee payroll processing.
-Involvement in Stock Plan Administration and interaction with third party exchange agent for the Company’s Share Incentive Plans.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA qualification.
•3 years plus of Big 4 public accounting experience
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller role in life science or technology companies with experience in both start-up and mature company environments, private and public, is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting, compliance and financial reporting.
•Experience with SEC reporting requirements preferred.
•Excellent verbal and written English skills.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and both local and international cross-functional teams.

• Proactive, results-oriented finance professional with an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with fluctuating priorities and collaborate effectively with others.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to set own priorities in a timely manner
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability
•Previous small team management or leadership required.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, experience with NetSuite is a plus.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a continuous improvement, international team-based environment
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will lead a lean, local team.
