Software Architect

About the role:

In this role, you are expected to take a major part in shaping and driving the execution of Application Security strategy.

We're seeking an architect to help us scale. Someone who wants to own and lead the most innovative Real-Time security platform of our domain, be a focal point for fellow developers and other stakeholders while constantly pushing our infrastructure forward.

You will lead the architecture and design of our highly scalable and high-performance WAAP solution. You would be part of the main engineering backbone of Cloud WAAP, including security and CDN features. Responsibilities:

Lead the development of next generation WAF security engine. - In this role, you are expected to take a major part in shaping and driving the execution of Application Security strategy by building a modern WAAP enterprise solution

Researching new technologies and adapting them for use in the company’s product

Lead feature architecture, design & development of complex and high performance solutions.

Collaborate with engineers in the group and mentor them to foster solid engineering principles, professionally grow, and represent our engineering values

Collaborate with the engineering teams to drive key design decisions and represent our engineering values.

Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in an ongoing effort to perfect our products

Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and stability of platform products, environments, and tools

Partner with product management to define product requirements and influence overall product direction.

Skills and experience required:

At least 6 years of experience as a technical leader in a near real time solution

At least 8 years of experience as a hands-on software developer of a large-scale network or security solution in Rust or Go or C/C++.

In-depth knowledge of Web Applications, Web-Network Protocols - HTTP/S and TLS Protocols

Experience with cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
