Maintenance and Calibration Technician

Syqe is a med-tech company developing technologies that enable the precise delivery of a wide range of therapeutic molecules by inhalation. Utilizing its breakthrough technology, Syqe aims to relieve the suffering of as many patients as possible in the fastest possible way.

We are seeking a skilled Calibration and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate calibration and proper medical equipment maintenance to meet regulatory requirements and maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Calibration and verification of medical equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and accuracy of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, perform repairs, or coordinate service with external vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate calibration and maintenance activities documentation, including equipment records, calibration logs, and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Lab, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and R&D, to support equipment validation and qualification activities.
• Participate in developing and improving calibration and maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing calibration and maintenance activities.
• Equipment mapping according to maintenance \ revalidation plan.
  
  

• Maintenance of office infrastructure systems such as air conditioning, electricity, water, compressors, etc.
• Providing ongoing office maintenance services
• Managing office renovation projects as needed
  
  

• Supervising the day-to-day work in the Syqe labs area, ensuring the labs are well maintained and effectively organized and that work and safety instructions are followed.
• Providing support for new laboratory equipment, systems, or workstations
  
  

• Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration and maintenance.
• Experience with medical equipment - a big advantage.
• Proficiency in using calibration tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze technical problems to identify root causes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and ISO standards, related to calibration and maintenance of medical devices - an advantage.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
