Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a start-up company

We seek an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have extensive financial leadership experience across start-ups, public companies, and Nasdaq-listed entities. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and knowledge of US GAAP are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals (HO approach)
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
• Maintain robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Optimize financial performance through cost control measures.
• Manage investor relations and present financial information to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams.
• Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities and oversee due diligence.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Big 5.
• 7+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Familiarity with NASDAQ reporting requirements.
• Experience in start-ups and public companies
• Proficiency in financial planning systems and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
