DevOps Engineer

Solitics, a cutting-edge data management, and automation platform is looking for an experienced and innovative devops to work as part of our experienced support team.

Position: DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based data solutions, to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

* Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud architectures tailored to specific business needs, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

* Identify and resolve complex networking, performance, and availability issues in customer integrations, prioritizing highly available, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

* Collaborate closely with R&D, Data, and Delivery teams to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives.

* Develop and maintain robust processes for scaling infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security and data protection

* Troubleshoot large-scale distributed cloud systems, introducing innovative solutions and selecting appropriate tools to improve efficiency and reliability.

* Analyze existing technologies and propose enhancements to optimize performance and efficiency.

* Define and enforce best practices for AWS cloud governance, security, and compliance.

Requirements:

* 3 +years of hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps engineer for large-scale production-grade products/architectures.

* Ability to work independently and take initiative.

* Expertise in designing and implementing highly resilient big data applications and troubleshooting distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on security considerations. Advantage.

* Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, and VPN.

* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments, emphasizing automation and scalability.

* Proficient with Kubernetes, experience with KEDA and HPA - Advantage.

* Familiarity with AWS security tools suite (e.g., WAF, Key Management) and concepts (e.g., Zero Trust), with a focus on practical implementation and integration.

* Self-learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and environments.

* Strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality, with a collaborative work ethic.

* Academic degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
