Lead System Engineer

About the job:

We are seeking a Lead System Engineer for a groundbreaking project of national significance in the Missile and Space Systems Division.

What will you do:

• Leading the development of project systems, including new systems development and upgrades to existing systems.
• Managing systemic project issues related to the synchronization of various system components.
• Coordinating with internal engineering and external entities on performance issues, guidance and control, aerodynamics, flight algorithms, navigation and propulsion, mechanical design, and environmental conditions.
• Leading development tests within the project framework.
• Providing comprehensive engineering responses to evolving technical issues that require the involvement of the systems engineer.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering - mandatory.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering - mandatory.
• Master's degree in Naval Architecture - a significant advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in:

-Leading and implementing major projects involving various professional disciplines.

-Engineering leadership in the development of complex systems.

-Managing and directing large engineering teams.

-Supervising and controlling engineering analyses in the fields of strength, fluid dynamics, dynamics, and environmental conditions.

-Led integration processes of multidisciplinary systems.

-Leading projects within the Ministry of Defense and the IDF.

• Significant managerial/command experience in engineering units of the Navy - a significant advantage.
