Research and Development Group Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a leader in soul R&D Group Manager to lead a group of full-stack teams (include outsource) building large scale user facing products. In this role, you will take a leading place in building a suite of products based on regulation, data sand rich user experience. You will define the teams’ structure, establish new teams, promote existing members, and recruit new ones. Aside from staffing, you will be responsible for the group's high standards and processes, take part in selecting the best core technologies and connect the different teams to a complete alignment within and with teams from other R&D divisions.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Manage and build a group of full-stack engineers developing customer-facing products.
• Provide technical supervision and support for ongoing projects and the development of products, including guidance, product investigations, problem-solving, and implementation of solutions.
• Play a central role as a senior manager in building the R&D organization.
• Direct reporting to the VP R&D

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10+ years experience in R&D roles, 5-6 years as an R&D TL or Group Manager of 10+ sized teams
• Willingness and patience to mentor and share your wisdom & experience and be open to learn from others.
• 3+ years experience in frontend development with the following frameworks\tools:
• JavaScript (OOP and functional programming paradigm, working with scopes, events, and DOM)
• ES6\7
• TypeScript
• VueJS/React
• Angular
• Node, Webpack, babel, gulp
• 3+ years experience in backend development (#C, ASP.NET) – Must,
• 3+ years experience with Databases (MSSQL, PG, MongoDB, MariaDB\MySQL)
• Significant experience working with CMS (WP) – Must, Commerce – Advantage.
• Significant experience working on B2C and B2B - facing solutions.
• Experience with cloud environments – Advantage
• Proven experience in building complex software solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew
• A proactive, out-of-the-box thinking.
