Senior node.js Engineer

Role Description

This is an 80% position hybrid role located in Tel-Aviv, operating in a hybrid work modal. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Enterprise-grade scaleable backend infrastructure working together with highly professional team, with a strong potential to influence the future of the product.

Must have 

• 5+ years of professional node.js experience, preferably using express.js.
• 2+ years of MySQL Experience.
• 1+ years of Typescript experience. 
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and web services. proficiency in working with Node.js and strong command of AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, EMR, NoSQL, and SQL databases. 
• Proven Experience with Agile development, CI/CD practices with GitLab, Git or Jenkins/TeamCity. 
• Experience writing automated tests from unit tests to End-2-End tests. 
• Self-motivated, passionate, and a quick learner. 
• Experience working across teams. 

Advantages 

• Experience in the Fintech industry.
• Experience with ElasticSearch / Redis or similar tooling.
• Some Frontend experience.

Nice to have 

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience. 
• Experience with Terraform or other DevOps tooling.
