Mission Aircraft Lead Systems Engineer

ELTA Division is looking for a Mission Aircraft Lead Systems Engineer.

What will you do:

• Leading the development of mission systems for manned aircraft (System of Systems), including sensors, operator and pilot interface systems, communication systems, and active elements.

• Writing the operational concept (CONOP/OCD) and validating it with stakeholders.

• Defining the system architecture, its components, and relationships through identification, definition, and development of engineering assets and cross-system processes.

• System specification development: defining engineering requirements for various system components against customer requirements, operational concept, engineering assets, and regulatory and engineering constraints. Mediating requirements with development entities at all levels.

• Preparation and leadership of external and internal system audits.

• Matrix guidance of internal engineering entities from various disciplines (engineering factories, software and intelligence in the Elta Division, aircraft management, and engineering in the IDF) and external contractors, and control of their products.

• Defining the system validation approach (validation + verification) and leading the inter-system integration until system acceptance by the customer.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Software - mandatory

• Proven experience in complex system engineering/architecture of software multi-process systems

• Familiarity with a variety of applications for requirements management, testing, and development tasks such as TcSE, MicroFocus ALM, and Jira - an advantage

• Broad and multi-disciplinary systemic vision and understanding

• High-level written and verbal expression in Hebrew and English

• Ability to independently learn new topics
