Duties

An Air Ticketing Executive is a professional responsible for handling the process of booking airline tickets for customers. Their primary duties include:

Customer Service : Interacting with customers to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.

Booking Flights : Using computer reservation systems (CRS) or online booking platforms to search for available flights, compare prices, and reserve seats according to customer preferences.

Issuing Tickets: Finalizing bookings, issuing electronic or paper tickets, and providing customers with all necessary travel documents.

Handling Changes and Cancellations : Assisting customers with changes to their travel plans, such as rescheduling flights, upgrading seats, or processing cancellations and refunds.

Providing Information : Offering information regarding flight schedules, airport facilities, baggage policies, visa requirements, and other relevant travel details.

Payment Processing : Handling payments, issuing invoices, and ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and securely.

Resolving Issues : Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to ensure customer satisfaction.

Staying Updated : Keeping abreast of changes in airline regulations, fare structures, and industry trends to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information
