Datacenter Operator - Temporary

Temporary Position for Six Months Only at the Emek Hefer Site

Department Description: Computer Site Operations Unit. The department is responsible for all operational processes of the company sites. The work is conducted in two areas –

Supporting Systems: electricity, control, air conditioning, and Data Center (DC).

infrastructure: planning, execution, and operation of passive infrastructures (optical and copper), DCIM system management, DC asset optimization, and more.

Job Description:

Shift work – Sunday to Friday, morning/evening/night shifts, Friday mornings, and occasional on-call duty outside working hours.

• The main work is at the Emek Hefer site, morning/evening/night shifts, Friday mornings, and occasionally Saturday evenings (about 4 hours).

• Additionally, occasionally working at the second site in the Herzliya area – morning/evening shifts and occasionally Saturday evenings (about 4 hours).

Shift Hours (according to the site's shift schedule):

Morning – starting at 7/8 AM for 9 hours Evening – starting at 2/5 PM for 9 hours Night – starting at 10/11 PM for 9 hours

• Planning and executing the deployment of passive infrastructure

• Installing IT equipment in server/communication racks, including basic configurations if required • Assisting and supporting in case of malfunctions

• Inventory management

Job Requirements:

At least one year of knowledge and experience working with computer facility infrastructures – passive communication infrastructures – optical and copper, servers, storage, communication, and other IT equipment. Experience in the physical installation of IT equipment, basic knowledge in equipment configurations.

• Planning and executing the deployment of passive infrastructure

• Installing IT equipment in server/communication racks, including basic configurations if required • Updating the DCIM system according to service requests

• Assisting and supporting in case of malfunctions

• Inventory management

• Occasional on-call duty outside working hours

• Knowledge and experience in PC support – an advantage
