Software Developer Team Leader PHP

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer Team Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, AWS services, JavaScript, SQL databases, Docker, and experience with the Yii framework.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of software developer, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain PHP based web applications using best practices • Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Manage SQL databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity
• Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards , performance, and security practices
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• +6 years overall experience as a backend developer in PHP
• +2 years experience as a team leader/ team manager
• Proven experience as a software developer with expertise in JavaScrip, SQL, Docker, and Yii framework
• Experience with code versioning tools e.g. Git or Gitlab
• Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS
• Team player with a strong problem solving and analytical abilities, with focus on delivering high quality solutions on time
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
• High written and speaking English skills
