Procurement Specialist

Are you a skilled negotiator with a passion for procurement in high-stakes environments? Join our Global defense company as a Purchasing Specialist. Your role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, handling & supervising international shipments and ensuring compliance with defense procurement regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
• Locating new suppliers (service providers, hardware, software licenses, etc.), managing negotiations, drafting POs and agreements (Hebrew and English)
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
• Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage international shipments to and from Bagira, according to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the defense industry, knowledge of procurement processes and compliance regulations - Must.
• At least 3 years' experience in international shipping – Must.
• Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP and SAP systems, Excel and other office software skills is a must.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in drafting contracts (English and Hebrew) - an advantage
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
