Cloud Engineer

In this position, you will implement crucial Cloud Engineer tasks and lead our efforts to drive cost efficiency and financial optimization across our cloud operations.

What you'll do

• Implement Cloud Engineer tasks and assist team members as part of the team's ongoing development
• Identify cost saving opportunities and monitor and analyze cloud costs
• Create cost reports and dashboards and promote FinOps culture in the R&D department
• Stay updated on AWS cost management tools and best practices

What you bring

• At least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer— must
• Strong understanding of AWS service and its pricing models — must
• Experience in automated provisioning, maintaining, and management of cloud resources in AWS
• Experience in AWS cost and pricing methodologies
• Experience in AWS discount programs
• In-depth knowledge of AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor
• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and rightsizing techniques
• Familiarity with cloud budgeting, cost allocation and ROI calculation
• System administration and troubleshooting experience with Linux in a production environment — advantage
• Ability and drive to learn new technologies
• Problem-solving and creative thinking
