Job Scope
As the Commercial Manager, in collaboration with the Country Manager and Corporate Marketing, you will develop the strategic marketing plan for Israel. Be accountable for all marketing related operations to maximize sales, market share and profitability in the short, mid and long term.
Being responsible for all sales activity pertaining to the maintenance of existing customers in addition to providing profitable growth from existing and new accounts in alignment with DiaSorin's vision and values. The Commercial Manger is an integral part of the Israel Leadership Team
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- All customer-facing activities related to traditional sales cycle.
- Develop and document an annual and midterm marketing plan to be incorporated into the business plan.
- Adapt the tactical and operational plan in line with the corporate strategic plan.
- Manage the marketing budget aligned with the departmental OPEX AP.
- Enhance the company image by appropriate engagement and representation at exhibitions and symposia.
- Provide market intelligence to corporate marketing.
- Develop strategies and tactics to protect and enhance pricing of high value products.
- Identify and develop the relationship with KOL's.
- Administration: Reports, literature requests, FOC forms, forecasting, expenses etc: to be completed within agreed timeframes.
- Preparation and implementation of sales and business plan to achieve DiaSorin's business goals.
- Development and execution of tactical sales plans and activities to maximise all business potential.
- Providing timely, accurate, competitive pricing for potential new business opportunities.
- Maintain and provide business reports: pricing, profit analysis, sales activity etc.
- Provide a comprehensive monthly report for all sales activity.
- Implementing strategic and tactical sales plans and continually managing sales cycles.
- Maintenance of accurate forecasting reports.
- Involved in budgeting via a short term and long-term plan in conjunction with the Country Manager.
- All activities to be compliant with DiaSorin's code of ethics and Quality Management System.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Sales and product specialist experience (3 yrs. minimum) in Israel.
- Sales experience ideally in the IVD industry or an associated market segment.
- Self motivated, driven, organised, ability to cope well in unexpected situations.
- A strong communicator with outstanding presentation skills.
- Effective people and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of national / local business environment.
- Business management including forecasting, budgeting, budget control.
- Business reporting.
- Involvement in Israeli Compliant tender processes.
- Responsible for Managed Service Contracts, as a primary or secondary supplier.
- Participation in industry-based conferences, exhibitions.
- Need to be computer literate.
- Hold a valid Israeli driver’s licence.
- Good presentation skills.
- The role is customer-facing and requires 70% travel within Israel.
- The Commercial Manager is expected to work from the company office in Rosh Ha’ayin when not traveling.
- There will be occasional trips outside of Israel to support marketing and sales activity.
- Induction and ongoing vocational training.
