Senior Hardware/Board Design Engineer

Xsight Labs is seeking a highly skilled senior hardware engineer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing boards for cutting-edge networking technology.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility on EVB development for a cutting-edge compute chip. The development is from spec to bring up in lab and mass production.
• Working with Layout editor, mechanical engineer, SI PI engineers, manufacturing team, and Purchasing manager.

Requirements

• Board designer with +7 years of experience.
• Familiarity with all the PCB development process. (specification, components selection, schematic, layout , debug, production)
• Hands-on in the lab for debug, building prototypes.

Required Experience

• Experienced with ORCAD design, Alegro design.
• Familiar with CPLD development for board logic design.
• Experienced with designing power delivery networks for low voltages at high current.
• Developed a System, well understanding of the system in particular communication system – advantage.
• Experienced in server / compute development – advantage.
• Has experience with multi-core processors environment – advantage.
• Did Interfaces above 10G ethernet (25G / 56G) – advantage.
• Experience with PCIe GEN4 or higher – advantage.
