THE ORG:
On October 8th, in response to the brutal murder of our dear friend David Newman at the Nova Festival, we opened a WhatsApp group called Let’s Do Something. That’s how five bereaved young friends put in motion something they never imagined: A global effort to uplift, support, and empower the citizens of Israel, and people around the world. OUR MISSION: To create a brighter and safer future for Israel by inspiring pro-Israel engagement, enhancing Israel’s defense capabilities, and serving those who have been affected by October 7th.
SUMMARY:
LDS is an advocacy-meets-action organization aimed at making a change for a brighter, safer Israel and inspiring others to make changes of their own and create opportunities for those who are called to action. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development of marketing strategies to build brand identity and online presence that calls to action thousands of followers through the creation and dissemination of pro-Israel content. This involves developing content strategies, growing an online community, working with brand guidelines and tracking that community’s growth via organizationally developed metrics. You will work directly under the CMO and actively manage the day-to day of the media team. This includes managing our content timeline, handling logistics and administration of content creation with the content team, working with the operations department and coordinating with external partners and stakeholders (influencers, brands, units etc.). As the lead marketing manager, your role will extend to providing overarching support to the organization as a whole, steering the marketing initiatives towards achieving the company's strategic goals and incorporating various departments' needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and schedule shoots with the media team - primarily content for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
- Write high level copy for our website, videos, and captions
- Engage with influencers and brands on collaborations
- Manage the media team video shoot and production schedule
- Leverage the LDS brand across additional platforms including FB, LinkedIn etc
- Provide logistics and marketing support for quarterly US events
- Provide logistics and management for international content trips
- Interdepartmental marketing coordination and execution
- Develop and maintain websites, newsletters, emails, social media campaigns
- Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorm initiatives
- Identify and propose internal/external ideas and initiatives to help promote general awareness of company brand
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1 - 3 years' experience in marketing/brand management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of all social networking platforms
Must:
- Be familiar with G Suite, Canva
- Have a background in content creation or communications
- Have a driver's license
- Speak English and Hebrew
- Be willing to travel abroad Have a valid passport
- Live in Israel
