Back End Developer

A start-up in the observability domain is developing a tool that helps SRE and engineering teams deeply analyze their system performance and reduce the mean time to detection and resolution of issues in Kubernetes.

Development is primarily done in C, Go, and Python, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end services, with focus on the Agent services
• Write eBPF code in Kernel and User Space code
• Deal with networking - Hook the kernel stack, implement DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) for various protocols
• Implement support of different protocols and rich tech stacks
• Focus on efficiency (resource utilization, running time), run performance tests

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in C / C++
• Two years of experience in Go / Python
• Two years of experience with at least one of the following:
• eBPF
• Linux internals
• Linux kernel development
• Networking stacks (Linux TCP/IP stack)
