Devsecops Engineer

A successful start-up in the Blockchain field is developing a platform that converts paper-based information into digital form.

The role involves collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to secure the company's cloud-based platform, monitoring and responding to security incidents, automating security tasks, and implementing security-focused DevOps practices, among other responsibilities.

The company is located in the Tel Aviv area, near a train line, and offers the option to work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to security events, vulnerabilities, and threats in the environment

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls

• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing

• Automate security tasks and implement security-focused DevOps practices

• Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis

• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends

• Participate in the design and implementation of new features and products to ensure they meet security requirements

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in information security, SecOps, or a related field - Must

• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and technologies - Must

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Major advantage

• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, etc) - Major Advantage

• Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) - Advantage

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a degree in a related field - Advantage
