QA Automation Team Lead

Zesty is growing, and we are looking for a talented hands-on QA Automation Team Lead with a solid background and passion for Quality Assurance. You will lead the QA automation team to ensure that our cloud optimization product is thoroughly tested using a combination of automated (as a default) and manual tests for cloud and on-prem architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 Automation and QA engineers.
• Develop scalable and reliable automated tests infrastructure for software and feature quality at both the system and user level.
• Design, create, modify, and execute test strategies/plans and drive improvements in software testing processes and methodologies.
• Optimize and maintain team-oriented and cross R&D tools or tests to increase productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering problems related to tools and testing.
• Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to ensure products meet high standards of quality and user experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years as a QA Automation team lead.
• 5+ years of experience in QA Software Automation Testing.
• Proven experience with large scale distributed backend systems test automation.
• Expertise in one or more of the following languages: Python, JS, Go, Java, C#.
• Track record in building test automation solutions, automated internal frameworks, or improving testing effectiveness.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD solutions and monitoring systems.
• Experience in building test plans for both backend and UI.
• Ability to lead testing activities and engage with cross-functional teams to shape design and product direction.
