Role Description

We are currently searching for Arabic-speaking students for an internship role at the Center's Program for Awareness and Influence in the Arab World. The program focuses on researching the realms of communication and new media in the Arab and Muslim world, emphasizing their strategic, security, and policy implications for Israel. As part of its research activities, the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs recently established a groundbreaking Communication Center, the first of its kind, focusing on trends in the Arab world (OSINT, Open-Source Intelligence) in the regional and international arena. The JCPA aims to generate influence and promote vital partnerships and interests for Israel.

Our Research Intern will be responsible for identifying trends in Arabic-language media, writing reports in Arabic and English for the institute's official platforms, and creating content for social media. The Research Intern will also be responsible for assisting senior researchers in their work, preparing presentation materials, and helping to organize seminars and conferences.

Qualifications

• Excellent level in Arabic and English (reading, writing, and spoken)
• Excellent OSINT research and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet research
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience in public policy, international relations, or related field
• Commitment for a long-term internship (6 months), 10 hours per week, some of which will be on-site
