VP of Procurement for a global Hi-Tech company

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Director to lead, design, and manage procurement at the company across different business units.

This is a senior strategic leadership role.

You will help improve efficiency and lower costs while creating a scalable infrastructure for procurement. You’ll implement and oversee strategic procurement initiatives across company business units to implement efficiencies through the vendor onboarding and procurement lifecycle.

In this role you’ll:

• Lead a large team including managers.

• Lead and implement strategic procurement initiatives to achieve business goals,

boost efficiency, and reduce costs

• Oversee cost reduction initiatives, including vendor pricing and contract

negotiation

• Define KPIs and best practices and push forward their implementation across

different business units

• Optimize user experience and business results by designing a new purchase

process

• Effectively collaborate with different stakeholders, including R&D and

production,.

• Create procurement-related business insights, track key procurement metrics,

and analyze results

What you’ll need

• 10+ years experience in procurement and operations roles

• Background at a global High Tech company with hardware components or

capital equipment- a must

• Strong leadership experience- a must

• Track record of driving change at large and complex organizations

• Top-notch communication skills, a knack for leading and inspiring, and a sharp

analytical eye

• Strong negotiation skills and critical thinking.

• Complexproblem-solving and decision-makingg.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
