Security Researcher

A startup specializes in cybersecurity, focusing on developing a platform that mitigates the risk of exploiting identified vulnerabilities within organizations. Their automated platform integrates with existing security tools across endpoints, networks, cloud environments, applications, and data systems to identify and address vulnerabilities promptly. Following a comprehensive analysis rooted in attacker methodologies, the platform identifies potential points of exploitation and gradually neutralizes these risks.

The role involves joining their research team as a Lead Vulnerability Researcher, reporting directly to the Research Director. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth vulnerability assessments within the organization to enhance the platform's effectiveness.

Located in Tel Aviv, the company offers a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work two days per week from home.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record in Research analysis, threat detection engineering, or threat hunting.
• 3 years of experience in industry cyber-security research
• Ability to collect, process, analyze, and interpret large datasets to derive actionable insights, particularly within the realm of protocol research.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages relevant to protocol analysis.
• Experience with network/security-related data analysis.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Experience in managing multi-departmental interactions with cybersecurity professionals, engineering teams, and product managers.
• Proficiency in SQL and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
