Data Scientist

A successful and stable fintech startup has developed an AI/ML system that aids in decision-making and risk management for loans and investments to growing startups, revolutionizing the lending process for large companies. The patented technology can predict future revenues, cash flow status, client repayment ability, and more.

The company has sites in London, the USA, and other locations, and is backed by prominent investors, having raised over $150M. They are in a growth phase and offer competitive and excellent conditions.

Role Description:

• 90% theoretical/research work in ML, focusing on Data Science tasks.
• Working with tabular data, text, LLM/NLP problems, time series, and generative AI.
• Tasks include document classification, entity recognition, statistical analysis, sentiment analysis.
• Coding in Python and SQL.
• Collaborating with a team that includes both DS and MLE professionals who assist with deployment to production, and working closely with the product management team.
• Located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, the company has 100 employees and offers a hybrid work model with some days working from home.

Requirements-

• MSc/Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or equivalent
• 4 years of experience as a data scientist
• Experience in Time Series Analysis and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of NLP techniques, including document classification, entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
• Extensive background in statistical analysis
