Big Data Developer

A global high-tech company in the Big Data sector is developing advanced products in the Ad Tech field, including one of the largest video advertising platforms in the U.S. This platform can customize ads for viewers in real-time using machine learning models and LLMs, handling immense scale.

The company has 900 employees globally, with 200 in Israel, half of whom are in the R&D department

Located in Tel Aviv, close to a train station, they offer a hybrid work model with three days working from home.

Role Description:

• Part of a team, developing a complex Big Data system using Java with Kafka, Hadoop, BitmaDB, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Grafana, InfluxDb, and Kibana..
• End-to-end feature development and ownership, from design to production, with a strong emphasis on innovation and efficiency.
• Take part in building & designing the next generation of company Identity solutions.
• Implement high scale Big-Data solutions and contribute to the platform infrastructure and architecture.
• Research core technologies and integrations with external APIs and services.
• Working with various stakeholders: Product, Engineering, Data providers etc.

Requirements-

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent degrees.
• 4 years of software development experience in Scala, GO, Python or Java.
• Experience in dealing with performance and high scale data systems.
• Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, ETLs, and streaming systems using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with SQL & NOSQL DBs.
• Experience with Git
