A healthcare startup developing an AI, ML, and LLM-based SaaS product for the American healthcare system. Their product understands clinical language, enabling automatic analysis and summarization of medical records. Their solution revolutionizes the medical coding industry, freeing up more time for medical teams to care for patients.

The company collaborates with over 250 hospitals and healthcare facilities in the U.S. They have secured approximately $50M in funding to date and have additional funding moving forward. Located in Tel Aviv (adjacent to the light rail), the company has 100 employees globally, with about 70 based in Israel. They offer one work-from-home day per week.

Role Description:

• Part of a team consisting of 2 developers, 2 female developers, and 2 doctors, reporting to the team lead.
• Backend development in Python in an AWS environment with PostgreSQL.
• Working with various stakeholders within the company, facing scalability challenges, and having a wide-ranging impact on the product.
• Work within our multidisciplinary R&D teams (Software Engineers, Linguists and Medical Doctors) and with the Product Management team.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of feature development, from initial design through to implementation.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable, reliable, and extensible products
• Requirements

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in backend software engineering - Python knowledge is a must.
• Experience in RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience leading a software project from end to end.
• Ability to be an end-to-end leader - owning features from an idea to production.
