Chief Information Officer

• Formulation and implementation of the information systems policy relevant to the organization.

• Planning, development and implementation of all the information systems and technological infrastructures in the organization, in particular the internal and external database infrastructures, their development, management, security and accessibility.

• Securing Yad Vashem's digital information and preserving it for future generations and ensuring Yad Vashem's business continuity.

• Leading the implementation of advanced technological tools to expand the historical information about the Holocaust and extract added value from the databases.

• Procurement planning and operation of the hardware, peripheral equipment, telephony and multimedia systems in the organization.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or engineering degree in relevant fields.

• Relevant training in information systems management.

• High level command of Hebrew and English.

• Management experience in the field of information systems.

• Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in managing a large team in a multi-tasking environment.

• Experience of at least 5 years in managing work processes and complex projects in direct and matrix management.

• Proven experience in leading technological projects with administrative complexity and a multi-consumer environment.

• Experience in planning and managing a budget amounting to millions of NIS.

• Excellent human relations, ability to motivate employees, ability to work independently and in a team.

• Ability to manage negotiations with suppliers and internal organizational customers.
