This role involves leading the development of our .NET application for an automated imaging system, which includes motion control, acquisition management, planning, and user interface development. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team of data scientists and DevOps engineers to enhance our temporal cytometry solutions.

Lead Software Development:

• Develop robust applications using the .NET framework (C#) and MVVM architecture for automated imaging systems.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces with WPF or other modern Windows UI frameworks.
• Implement multi-threading and manage intensive I/O tasks to handle large volumes of imaging data efficiently.

Hardware Integration:

• Integrate hardware SDKs to control imaging devices, motion systems, and other related hardware.
• Develop solutions for automated motion control and synchronization of imaging components.

Acquisition Management:

• Design and implement acquisition management systems to plan and execute imaging sessions.
• Develop features forreal-time monitoring and adjustment of imaging parameters.

Data Processing and Storage:

• Optimize database schemas for storing large volumes of imaging data.
• Develop backend systems to handle data acquisition, storage, and initial processing before further analysis.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with data scientists to integrate data analytics capabilities within the application.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure.

Innovation and Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in software development, cloud technologies, and imaging systems.
• Continuously improve and innovate the imaging system to enhance performance and user experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in the .NET framework and design patterns.
• Extensive experience with C# application development and multi-threading.
• Experience with imaging systems and hardware integration.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud computing platforms (Azure preferred).
• Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
