Senior Data Scientist - Computer Vision

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in Computer Vision to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead innovative projects, leveraging advanced computer vision techniques to solve complex problems and drive the development of cutting-edge solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning, image processing, and deep learning methodologies, as well as a proven track record of deploying computer vision models in production environments. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art algorithms, contributing to the advancement of our technology and products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of computer vision models and algorithms for cell microscopy applications.
• Conduct extensive research to stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate computer vision solutions into products and services.
• Analyze large cell microscopy image datasets to extract meaningful insights and develop robust, scalable models.
• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of computer vision projects, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment.
• Communicate findings and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or machine learning.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in developing and deploying computer vision models in real-world applications.
• Experience with image perception, image segmentation, and object detection techniques.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch, OpenCV).
• Experience with deep learning architectures such as CNNs, Transformers, and LLMs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with deep learning approaches in healthcare industry.
