A startup company in the AI field has developed a SaaS platform for enterprises to manage AI-based service and marketing customer journeys. For example, the AI builds a service journey that helps the customer resolve internet or TV issues, effectively replacing customer service representatives.

Additionally, they are currently developing a new product aimed at being a 'personal assistant for small businesses,' intended for individuals busy managing their business who need help with customer interactions, answering calls, scheduling meetings, generating new leads, explaining the services they provide, etc.

The company is highly profitable and stable, presenting an excellent opportunity to join at this stage. Their clients are large corporations in Europe in the telecom, mobile, banking sectors, etc.

The company is located in central Israel near a train station, with two days of remote work per week. The company has about 25 employees globally, about 20 in Israel, with 10 in development.

Job Description:

Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Engineering will play a critical role in both the strategic and technical growth of our team. This role involves approximately 20% hands-on work, including:

• Architecture and code review
• Guiding developers
• Occasional independent coding of certain components

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the existing team, initially managing 6 employees (5 developers and 1 QA) in a flat management structure
• Appoint a team leader and gradually expand the team
• Handle managerial tasks and development goals
• As the team grows, the hands-on work will decrease

Tech Stack:

• AI, ML, Python, VueJS
• Snowflake, Kubernetes, AWS, GIT, SQL
• Django, Flask, Redshift
• Microservices, CI/CD

Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in backend/full-stack development
• 3 years of experience managing 4+ people, across at least 2 tenures
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with ReactJS, VueJS, or Angular2
• Cloud experience
• Relevant degree
• Background in startup companies
