Quago is a game intelligence company based in Tel Aviv District, Israel. We utilize ML-based technology to uncover critical patterns related to cheating, churn, UA fraud, player skill level, and more in real time. Traditional tools often rely on demographics and event-based data, which fall short in accurately identifying these patterns. With Quago, gaming companies can gain valuable insights and predictions without compromising user privacy.

Role Description

You have a unique opportunity to join our core-team as the 2nd data scientist, working with state-of-the-art technologies spanning Engineering, Big Data, AI, and Cloud infrastructures

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant, broad software engineering, data analysis and data science experience.
• Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative out of the box approaches / solutions in domains with limited references or open source solutions.
• Extensive experience with production-grade machine learning systems at scale, demonstrating a robust understanding of the challenges and solutions associated with high-volume data processing.
• A proven impact building e2e AI solutions encompassing all stages from data collection and annotation, through in-depth data analysis, to deploying, monitoring, and retraining models in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python and key data science libraries, demonstrating a strong foundation in the tools essential for modern data science.
• Expertise in PySpark and Big Data technologies, with experience in analyzing and modeling terabytes of data.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Advantage: expertise in sensorial-based temporal data, reflecting our company’s unique focus and specialization.
• Advantage: experience with young and dynamic early-stage startup environment

Additional qualifications and experience in the gaming industry or related fields would be beneficial.
