Senior Product Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Test Engineer to join our development team.

In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, and qualification of our multidisciplinary system. You will require a deep understanding of both software application engineering and system validation to ensure that all aspects of the system meet stringent quality standards. You'll get hands-on with our first prototypes, making sure everything operates robustly by running system tests, quality assurance protocols and performance analyses. Reporting to our head of engineering, you will work closely with our software teams and hardware development team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our R&D and Product team to understand requirements and translate them into system tests and qualifications, ensure that the product is functional, reliable, and meets both external and internal standards.
• Develop test plans and strategies that ensure software or hardware meets all requirements and quality standards and execute them.
• Define the scope of testing within the context of each software release/delivery and ensure its functionality and quality.
• Analyze tests result, providing insights into the data the, create professional test reports and technical documentation  
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of applications. Ensure integration with existing systems and platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in testing and qualification of complex systems
• Familiarity with multiple fields such as mechanical, electrical and software engineering, ensuring they meet all functional and non-functional requirements
• Background and experience in statistical analysis, big data analytics and data analysis software applications.
• Ability to write test procedures and QA protocols, with attention to detail and documentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from different backgrounds 
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with Agritech or agriculture equipment - an advantage
