Chief Technology Officer

Our forward-thinking company is looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development of a data-driven web application focusing on a filterable search query functionality.

Location: Kiryat Ata, Israel (or Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and development of a scalable web application, including both frontend and backend components.
• Oversee the setup and management of cloud environments for both web servers and data servers.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to define and implement the web UI and ensure seamless user experience.
• Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of the web application.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and ensure the application remains at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a tech-driven organization.
• Extensive experience in developing database-based web applications.
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and setting up cloud environments for both web servers and data servers.
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Strong software architecture background, setting up application environments with state-of-the-art frontend and database solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in the real estate investment or financial technology sectors.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
