System Engineer

System Engineer for Artillery & Fire support C4I team

• We are looking for a new member in a leading Fire support oriented C4I system-engineering team based in Netanya.
• This team's products have seen unprecedented use in the field and we are now preparing for the next steps in the development of our advanced Artillery and fire support solutions for local customers and opportunities abroad.

Job Description:

• Define comprehensive system requirements based on client needs and stakeholder input.
• Develop and maintain detailed system architecture and design documentation.
• Plan and Lead development iterations in agile methodology, working closely with software, QA, UI/UX, and algorithm team members to ensure integrated and optimized system performance.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and technical discussions.
• Plan and execute system integration activities, ensuring compatibility and functionality of all components.
• Develop and implement rigorous system-level testing protocols to characterize and validate system performance.
• Drive prototype development for feature evaluation, working hands-on to test and refine designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, applying high-level problem-solving skills and debugging techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating relevant advancements into system designs.

Job Requirements:

• B.Sc. (industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer science..) - Advantage
• Proven background in the use (military service) or development of Artillery and Fire support systems.
• 2 years of experience in product management or system engineering in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with hands on experience in handling data and utilizing it to make informed decisions.
• High problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively under uncertainty.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work long hours and travel as needed.
• Excellent customer-facing presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Good teamworking skills and a positive cooperating nature
• Passion for technology, with a drive to continuously learn and adapt.
