Real-time Software Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced real-time software developer, for a central role in our Radar software development team, working on highly challenging algorithms and architectures. Your day will be a combination of a detailed software architecture design, coordination of all software development issues and sprints, and hands-on coding and integration. You will interact tightly with the radar algo and hardware teams for designing, coding and testing of real-time algorithms on CPUs and GPUs, catering for H/W-S/W interfaces, data flow management and more. This is a full-time, hybrid role, primarily located in Rehovot, Park HaMada , next to the train station.

Responsibilities

• Lead the radar software design from early design stages through coding and testing up to the final deployment
• High rate data flow -interfaces definition, processing architecture design and hands-on implementation
• Implementation of radar processes and algorithms on edge ( NVIDIA® GPUs) – Hands on coding
• Benchmarking, identifying bottle necks and optimizing the processing pipeline, including integrating CUDA code implementation done in-house and/or by external experts into the main framework
• H/W-S/W Interfaces definition, design, coding and maintenance
• Lead the validation and deployment processes
• Cooperate with system algorithms & backend teams

Qualifications

• B.Sc in computer science, Electrical engineering or similar.
• 4-5 years industry/military experience in real-time S/W development over LINUX.
• Python proficiency (Sklearn, NumPy, SciPy) – a must
• C++ – a must
• Experience in algo implementation on GPU in CUDA - advantage
• Automotive/Robotics/Radar/MedTech systems experience – advantage
• Understanding of sensing, perception, sensor fusion, localization, geo-mapping, navigation– advantage
• Understanding of automated driving sensing, perception, sensor fusion, localization, geo-mapping, navigation– advantage
