Budget Department Manager

Job Description: 

• Plan the expenditure budget of Sheba Medical Center. 
• Develop and implement control processes in the areas of payroll, personnel, and procurement budget control.
• Evaluate targets against performance to ensure budget compliance.
• Build and define the business model for a departmental costing system.
• Prepare budget implications for work plan discussions.
• Develop a business plan and cost-benefit analysis for service provision projects.
• Lead preparations for planning discussions, including budget and work plans.

Job Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
• Extensive knowledge and high proficiency in Excel - mandatory.
• Proven knowledge in the business specification of an information system.
• Proven ability to analyze data and reports, and to draw informed conclusions - mandatory.
• Willingness to work hard and put in extra hours.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Initiative and a systemic perspective.
• Ability to work independently and a high capacity for learning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in managing a budget unit.
