Control and Monitoring Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Control and Monitoring Analyst to join our Operations Center, which is responsible for maintaining the availability and monitoring of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical skills and technical expertise in monitoring, control, and supervision.

As a Control and Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and measuring the center's activities, reflecting the current state, and identifying trends. You will conduct in-depth investigations and establish controls for response capabilities and dealing with technological failure events.

You will be responsible for implementing and integrating effective monitoring solutions, performing Root Cause Analysis, implementing response tools, creating reports, and automating processes for optimization. You will also develop maps to create a complete visualization of the business line status.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in establishing, managing, and maintaining a monitoring and control system
• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in writing scripts (Bash, PowerShell, VB)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience and familiarity with monitoring tools such as Service Now, Zabbix, Splunk, AppDynamics, Squared Up, Elk, and Cloud Watch
• Minimum of 2 years of experience and familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Unix
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing reports and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP-IP, HTTP, SMTP, UDP, and HTTPS
