Cobol Developer

We are seeking a Cobol Developer to join our team in a successful company in the center region, specializing in maintaining and enhancing our state-of-the-art statement systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Cobol applications for our statement systems
• Work closely with end-users to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and debug issues in existing Cobol codebase.
• Participate in the ongoing maintenance and support of existing systems.
• Contribute to the development of future enhancements and innovations in our statement systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Cobol programming.

Requirements:

• 4 years of professional experience in Cobol programming, including CICS and MF.
• Experience working with statement systems or financial applications is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Innovative thinking and a proactive approach to development tasks.
