Senior Data Scientist

Our client, a startup in stealth mode, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The startup is building a GenAI analytics product and the Data Scientist will play a key role in creating a top-tier SaaS product. The goal is to deliver substantial value by utilizing generative AI and large language models.

Role Description

• Participate in developing and deploying advanced machine learning models to solve semantic parsing problems.
• Design and develop models for tasks such as Classification, Similarity, Clustering, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Unsupervised learning and other semantic parsing-related tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and data scientists, to understand business challenges and design data-driven solutions.
• Implement and maintain grounding techniques and other related methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data analysis processes.
• Utilize and fine-tune large language models to enhance the performance of NLP tasks.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advances in the field and apply an innovative approach

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with practical experience building production-grade models.
• M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with large language models, transformers, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Strong experience with large language models, transformers, and fine-tuning techniques.
• Strong experience in designing and developing NLP models
• Experience in causality analysis and predictive modelling is an advantage.
