Software Engineer

One of the world's leading cybersecurity companies specializing in Application Delivery Networking holds about 60% of the market share in application traffic management and load balancing. It provides solutions that ensure applications within an organization are secure, fast, and accessible to everyone. Additionally, the company helps organizations meet the demands and seize the opportunities arising from the continuous growth in telecom, data, and video traffic, supporting work from anywhere and applications both in the organizational Data Center and in the cloud.

The company is located in central Israel near a train station, and it is possible to combine working from home. It has approximately 6,000 employees worldwide, with the branch in Israel having 200 people.

The code is written in Go, the proxy is implemented in C++, and it is server-side only development. The work is at scale, handling traffic of a million events per second and extensive data work, writing new features for an existing product, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of application layer data and control path services

• Work with PM to understand business requirements and use cases

• Design and deliver solution end to end

• Provide customer support when required

• Follow software development lifecycle

• Work with the globally distributed teams

Requirements-

• 4 years of software development experience

• Proficiency in C++

• Object-oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns

• Good understanding of networking protocols, HTTP/HTTPS, Proxies

• Experience in performance tuning and multi-threaded software architecture

• Experience with Kubernetes container technology
