Backend Team Lead

A startup company develops a cloud platform for investment management, offering a Multi-Cloud, Enterprise-grade SaaS platform.

The platform is based on artificial intelligence, enabling the identification of financial anomalies, operational irregularities, or potential fraud more quickly than most solutions currently available in the market.

The role involves managing a team of 6-8 people organized in a Squad structure, reporting to the CTO with approximately 50% hands-on work. The team develops entirely in Java using Spring, Kafka, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, operating with one work-from-home day.

The company has approximately 130 employees and has completed several funding rounds, raising over $150 million in total, with the latest being Round C. The company is profitable with paying customers and is in continuous growth.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in leading R&D teams in fast paced environments

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering

• Solid proficiency in modern Java/C++/C#

• Experience developing large, scalable, distributed information systems using a microservices architecture.

• Mastery of high-performance, reentrant, and efficient code

• Competency working with state-of-the-art source control management and CI tools.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Team player, mentor, strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Computer Science degree(s) from leading universities and/or technological intelligence units graduate
